Ray told Frank and Marie that Robert broke up with Amy again and the family decided that he must stay gay, he said he’s not. Would Frank accept Robert (eventually) if he was gay? Really, let's think about it. We all know Frank would react badly at first. We all know he's rigidly old-fashioned in the most charitable sense of the word. But this is his son, for fuck's sake. And while he puts on a great show, I have no doubts he loves his kids as any father does.
What's with Robert?: Directed by Will Mackenzie. With Ray Romano, Patricia Heaton, Brad Garrett, Madylin Sweeten.
Marie begins to think that Robert is gay when he breaks up with Amy again. They didn't start out gay. They became gay after going out with me. Well, at least it wasn't that this time. As far as we know.
Yeah, right. Maybe Robert is gay. Are you serious? Think about it. He color coordinates his clothes. He can dance. Certainly very attached to his mother. "You taught him all those songs." Season 4 Episode What's With Robert?Subscribe now: More:h. Me and a few of the guys from my unit had to stop over there on the way back from Korea. WHY in the living hell didn't Debra ever have an open discussion with the elder Barones about her feelings?
Robert set me up. What was Uncle Mel's relationship to the Barones? My hard work is the only reason the two of you aren't flitting around here like a couple of tinkerbells! She then raises the question, is Robert gay? It wasn't about them, but they were used to develop the other characters. Midway through the episode, Stefania and her father Marco suddenly decide to stay in the US instead of returning to Italy Ray also has a good career with the newspaper which seems to be close to their house.
Hello, everybody.
Oh, look, this whole thing is Debra's fault. And in any event, Marie's response to their presence, whether or not Debra was justified in inviting them, was incredibly childish. There's 40 people in the school's cafe-gym-a-torium, all right? Because Frank is upset and wants to quit in "Frank's Tribute" shes trying alittle reverse psychology at first untill she helps him feel better with her own tribute, in "Debra at the lodge" the lodge is closing down so its mostly out of her control afaik havent seen the episode in a while.
Also, whenever there's a fight, the majority of the time, Debra is portrayed as in the absolute right and we're not meant to sympathize with the other person at all, despite the fact that you could see where the other person was coming from. Another point: would a cop really arrest someone for sleeping in their car? Robert lived with his parents. Listen, I know you're not gay! Thanks, Ma. Ignore them?
Despite this, the twins made a mark on the series and had a few major storylines of their own. The exact quote above is that Debra wins every argument involving her. Yeah, I'll bet she does. Alittle bit, yeah. A guy rented him a boogie board, and a bell went off. She was a virgin when you met her. Debra is NOT always shown as right — they regularly point out she's a crappy cook, is horribly mean, is disrespectful, arrogant and often morally questionable.
This part is meant as a joke. That means a lot to me, Raymond. Explained in the episode.
