The Des Moines Gay Men's Chorus (DMGMC) is a non-profit organization based in Des Moines, Iowa, that aims to promote and celebrate diversity through music. Founded in , the chorus has been an integral part of the LGBTQ+ community in Iowa and a shining example of the transformative power of music. The Des Moines Gay Men’s Chorus produces a three concert series per season and, together with their small ensemble group HarMANY, perform at many community outreach events each year reaching an estimated audience of 20, Des Moines Gay Men's Chorus presents Thankful, a joyful celebration of the holiday season.

In their 19th year of making music that matters, the Des Moines Gay Men's Chorus is dedicated to promoting harmony among all while advancing a positive image. Membership is open to anyone who is gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and to anyone who is respectful and affirming of these communities. It got a little annoying. Our Artistic Director and Board of Directors plan a concert subscription series and dozens of other performances highlighting the gifts and skills of gay people and declaring the dignity and worth of all persons.

Loved the conductor, and of course Ben the pianist, and all the talented singers. The DMGMC is proud to support Iowans as they work for civil justice in the workplace, in housing, for safety in our schools, and for racial equality. The chorus was founded by Dr. Behind The Curtain.
